We entered from the Skyline entrance in Broadmeadows. It starts with 3 steep climbs, 2 of which are bare mud, and you wander way you're doing it.
But then the views start to come into play and the climb is a lot gentler. The last couple of hundred metres is a little steeper but once you get to the top WOW. My wife took a short video of the scenery and sent it 2 a friend in Oz as a birthday present. The friend was overwhelmed with the view.
