Its a magic spot and we love being able to share it with travelling guests. Most of the year we are based in Southeast BC Canada, so our friend Heather is your caretaker, who also service the house in between guests to make sure its in top shape for your arrival.
Heather has worked for NZ Dept of Conservation for many years, as well as US Parks Service Montana previously, so she has a strong connection with conservation and we feel very lucky to have her work with us. Both Mike and I work in the aviation industry, Mike is a helicopter pilot and I am an aircraft engineer.

Work is often very busy and demanding which we do enjoy, but when its time to take off and explore, there is no holding us back. We really value being a part of the Airbnb community, and try and book other Airbnb homes as often as we can when travelling for personal trips as well as using it for our travel for work.
We love to get back to our little X on the map in NZ as much as possible, our last trip was Feb when we spent time landscaping the area around the fishing cottage, creating a peaceful natural space for guests to relax in. How to apply
Your holiday home is in complete privacy set on 25acres of land. We have a wonderful caretaker who lives up the road if an emergency presents itself, you will be provided with her number, otherwise you have the house to yourself.
From time to time we have guests in the cottage across the driveway from you, however both properties are in complete privacy from each other. The cottage is available to be booked in combination with the house for larger bookings, please enquire. Total people between both houses is 9 max.
