The drive up to it is amazing, very well farmed area, with spectacular views down to the sea, far below. Road is good, tho it is windy. The camp is wonderful, right on the Manakau Harbour, lovely beach to walk along, out of holiday season. A few permanent vans in camp, but all very tidy. Long time owners keep camp immaculate. Well worth a visit, also can take another road to Manakau Heads and lighthouse, at entrance to the Harbour. Views over to Sky Tower. Date of stay: December Trip type: Traveled as a couple.

The place was just bliss so beautiful and tidy a place to really listen to the ocean and the birds I loved it there and I'm so going back. Kitchen was immaculate as were the showers and toilets. The showers were in just one word A shame there is no lounge when it rains but everything else makes up for that. Then theres the area I would love a bach there, the area is just awesome just make sure you go and explore theres so much to see.
